An illustration designed for Time For Tales, a children’s brand focused on inspiring and encouraging storytelling through beautifully illustrated prints.

Pathways and fields lead your eye around the landscape, following the rolling hills and road in the background down to the farm buildings, then through the gate to the picnic and lake before arriving down at the vegetable patch.

Each character interacts differently with the landscape: while Pip the mouse is busy exploring why all of his prize cabbages have been eaten, the rabbit is adding the finishing touches to her carrot cake before returning to the picnic. As well as lots of characters to find, there are many elements to create counting games and encourage curiosity, wondering why there is a purple carrot among all the orange carrots, for example! Each area has been developed with both children and adults in mind, creating something to enjoy together every time they look at it.
