Amelia is an Illustrator and Printmaker based in Newcastle upon Tyne.

From children’s book illustration to traditional printing processes, I’ve always loved rough, spontaneous sketches opposed to clean finals. They hold character and have the ability to capture a narrative that can sometimes feel blurred through a polished outcome. My goal as a creative is to stay experimental, playing with digital and traditional processes and seeing how elements of storytelling can be incorporated.

After graduating with a first class honours in Illustration, I am currently studying a Masters in Children’s Book Illustration at Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge.
